Porcelain veneers are thin shells of handcrafted dental porcelain that fit over front teeth. Each veneer is designed to complement your overall smile, as well as your overall appearance. Dr. Wei will consider your existing dentition and bite, as well as your skin tone, features, and face shape, when designing the perfect veneers for you. If you've fallen in love with smiles in magazines, bring the photos to your visit. Dr. Wei will consult you on which attributes will look best for your new smile.
Like porcelain veneers, Lumineers are porcelain shells that we adhere to front teeth. However, some patients do not need preparatory tooth reduction and require no injections, to ensure a natural appearance. With Lumineers, minimal or no-prep application is possible. Not all patients are candidates for Lumineers. However, Dr. Wei will assess your unique situation and discuss whether traditional porcelain veneers or Lumineers would work well for you.
